Title: Polar aligned star trail
Post by: Kenny on Jun 08, 2015, 22:45:26
Polar aligned star trail taken from just north of Bracknell, surrounded by sodium glow but fortunately not straight up.

Canon 450D. 26 x 2 minute exposures at 18mm, f/6.3, ISO-400. RAW frames adjusted in Lightroom, imported as layers into Photoshop and blended, with final processing of the resulting image in Lightroom.

Thanks. With my OCD, it aggravates me that it's not centred but I really didn't want to crop the image to compensate. It's also a bit dull without an interesting foreground but this was an unplanned session helping a mate and there wasn't any interesting foreground nearby. :cheesy:
