Title: Part of Makarian's Chain in Virgo, 2015-04-14/15
Post by: The Thing on Apr 27, 2015, 17:09:45
My version and all I can fit in my field of view.

Some of the stars have funny dark bars and there is a light stripe down the left. I suspect its a stacking artifact as is didn't do an intersection so the image covered the greater area/more galaxies.

Telescope aperture and focal ratio:   LX90 8", Baader Alan Gee II Telecompressor, Brightstar OAG
Camera and filters used:   Canon 1000d Modded, no filter
Processing applied:   DeepSkyStacker, AstraImage 3.0SI

Markarian's Chain isn't optimum for composing at such a long focal length :)

It's looking good though!
