spent about 1 1/2 hours on patio and tried my new eyepieces and filters hence "Blue Moon", very pleased with
quality of eyepieces especially the Plossl 32mm widefield eyepiece !!!

Glad to see the eyepiece are good. They are good shots you should try some of the techniques Nik demonstrated on Thursday to bring out the details.

Nice pics Rog.
Yellow filter and yellow green is good for bringing out contrast on the Moon. I think blue is usually used on Venus as there is a bit of detail at that end of the spectrum.
I found this guide (http://sas-sky.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/SAS-The-Use-of-Astronomical-Filters1.pdf) and this one (https://www.myastroshop.com.au/guides/filters.asp), maybe I should read them and dig out my own filters!
