Title: NGC2264 - Cone and Foxfur area
Post by: RobertM on Jan 02, 2015, 20:22:39
Took this over 4 days before Christmas.  I'm very pleased with the way it's come out, hope you think so too.  I might even look at adding RGB at some point (given the weather that is).

RH200 scope with an SXVR-H694 camera and 5nm Ha filter, 45 x 600s, stacked in MaximDL and processed in Pixinsight (deconvolution, MLT and stretch).

That's come out well for Orpington.  The 7 hours or so spent on it have smoothed it out nicely.

That is very good indeed!  Especially the full size version. Lots of subtle detail and pin sharp stars right across the field of view.

With a f/3 focal ratio and a 77% QE camera you are certainly collecting those photons very fast!

You should be well pleased with that.
