Title: South Downs National park to apply for Dark Sky Status.

The South downs national park is to apply for dark skies status,

If they are successful it could mean a change of venue for the deep sky camps to take advantage of something so close.

Do you suppose the surrounding towns will help by doing somthing about their lights?

if the park wins the status, then probably, but at the moment, its still pretty fantastic down here anyway.
