Fay, I'd give it a go, if you can handle Roberts 8" then you could progress onto Mark's 11"; mind you its how you mount them that's important.
Excellent advice. PMSL
  :lol:honestly cant believe how your mind works Chris

You started it, you smutty person you
What, honestly what? Is there anything I said that is wrong? Fay more like I don't know how your mind works.
I did however forget to say that with Mark's payload you need to ensure the mount is lubed well, or you might get periodic error.
Robert & Carole started this!
No Robert, Mark and Mick started it, I just laughed.

I think everyone would agree that you started this ;)

It would only get like that if you were swapping Robert's 8" for Mark's 11", but as you will only be using one at a time, and at different times, pampas grass will not be required.
Tony G
anyone with their head screwed on would swap an 8" for an 11" surely
But Fay, an 11" in an amateurs hands is not as good as an 8" in a professionals. ;)
So sometimes you get more from an 8" than a 11". :D
Tony G
I've seen some great results from a fast 6".
An 11" is probably too much for you to handle, I'd recommend that an 8" is probably all you want to cope with.
