This Saturday, (May 8th) members of the OAS will be presenting a public event to observe the planets Venus, Saturn and Mars as they rise into the evening sky. The event will start at 8pm with a short talk, and then, weather permitting, we will have an outdoor observing session. Please rmember to wear warm clothes and shoes and bring a digital camera if you wish to take pictures through the telescope.

Members assisting with this, please see the discussion in Behind the Scenes.

May pop around tonight, but have not got any planetary data. Anything else I can bring? eg photo's? as sky may not be too good
