I took a pic of the very same sun spot today myself !!! LOL !!! Having a bugger focusing though because I cant see the laptop screen properly due to the sun !?!?!?!

This is from an AVI and as I coudlnt see it on the screen properly I couldnt get the settings right. Because of this it was captured with too high gain and it is spotty and out of focus. You can see it is the same spot though !

Mike,
A trick I use is to cover my head and the screen with a blanket, then you can see OK.
You may get some strange looks from the neighbours, but hey!

Sunspot 349 was nearly invisible only a few days ago. Now it stretches 8 Earth-diameters from end to end.
