Misaligned or not, that's frik'n gorgeous, really love the fact you've captured the whispy outer limbs too

Lovely.  Very nice indeed.  Even with misaligned colour (which it took me a long time to spot anyway).

Excellent image Chris, you've even exposed some of the outer halo and the central dust clouds.  There's so much data to process ... I want to go !

Hi,

This was astronomy adultery I used Olly's Televue F5 500mm scope with an Atik HR16, the images we're 10x10 minute luminance, and RGB 4x5 minute each all unbinned.

I wanted to use the fast scope to get the signal to noise on the luminance, cool eh, I will fix the edges in Photoshop when I get home.
