Title: California and Shark Nebulae from Cairds DSC
Post by: Carole on Sep 19, 2020, 20:55:23
Added some more data to my image from last year of the Shark nebula.

It is now a total of 8 hours.
Atik460EX last year was with the WOZs71 and this year it was with my Samyang lens re-sized and Registered with Registar.

I also did the California Nebula.  I started this at Home, but there were nasty gradients that could not be removed, so I only used the Cairds data.

Atik460EX and Samyang lens 135mm @ F2.8
Ha 13 x 600
Red 5 x 300
Green 12 x 300
Blue 12 x 300
Ha blended into the Red channel so there was not much Red data taken, mainly for the stars.
HEQ5

Total 4 1/2 hours

Very nice Carole!  Dark(er) skies definitely show through.
