IMHO it's a planet or bright star setting. What a bunch of numpties.

It's in front of the distant mountains and it moves. So it can't be a hot pixel or planet.

I thought perhaps a cosmic ray but it does look like sunshine glinting off metal. Maybe another country has landed a probe and not told anyone.
