Anyone know where I can get some similar to these ?

It seems there are plenty of places on the US but they won't ship to the UK :(

The important thing is that they are metal, use ball or roller bearings and are less than about 4-5" (100-125mm) in diameter.  Weight load >150Kg.

Many thanks in advance.

I assume this is intended for the roof roll out.

My roll off roof has normal casters and galanised edges so the cant run out of line, also its well clamped down.....

Thanks but already seen those, I want wheels that are a larger diameter.

Mine has a metal U rail and plastic wheels and it takes a lot of force to close because of the roof weight.  If I'm going to motorise then it has to run fairly freely.

Robert,

Here are a few sites

http://www.brauer.co.uk/v-grooved-s273.aspx

The last site I found the cheapest at 25p per wheel, and can be found at that wretched Tesco's around the corner from you with the bright lights..........and you can pick them up 24hrs a day. ;)

Good luck

Thanks Tony, much appreciated, especially the Tesco's idea

But not what I'm after.

I'll play the forum junkie and try some of the others for help.

Robert,

If you type in what you are after in Google images (I find it easier) and then when you have spotted what you are after then go to that particular web site, but remember whatever you type in also put 'in UK' and you should get some results.

I might consider using V-groove castors on Mark's Mark II roof.  These ones (the CV range) run on inverted (upward V) angle iron so I could re-use what I already have - the wheel groove is 92 degrees to prevent binding.  Don't know how much they are:

For the price I think I'm going to try eight of these first and hopefully there'll be much less rolling resistance than just four 2" diameter wheels that I have on there at present:
