Title: Trailing Hot Pixels
Post by: Fay on Apr 30, 2009, 11:10:17
I have got trailing hot pixels on my last two images. They do go when stacked in DSS but not Astroart or Maxim.

Has anyone any idea why this is?

Also, my mount has been ok on my 75ah battery, lately, but last night after about 4 hours it was flashing. It had the battery to itself. Any ideas why it should run down so quick? I do charge after each session.

I do use the batteries every time in the garden now, to get it right for any DSC, as I always end up with power going.
Thanks a lot

Try the Sigma stack in Maxim.

Yes, I did do Sigma in DSS & it got rid of them, but I have never noticed so many before. It did not work in AA. Did not try Maxim

If you're subtracting Darks they will disappear anyway.
