Title: Ghost nebula VDB141 (data captured in 2013)
Post by: Carole on Jun 26, 2018, 21:04:32
Frustrating having all these clear skies and not being able to use them because of Astronomical twilight, LP and a Full Moon, so I thought I would go back and re-process an image I captured at Olly's place in 2013 and see what 5 years of extra processing experience could do.

I re-stacked from scratch - YES I found all the images and calibration files on my back-up drive.

Taken from Les Granges, Provence, France
Luminance 12 x 900secs, Red 4 x 600secs
Green 3 x 600 secs, Blue 6 x 600secs,
Using Olly's equipment, Atik11000, Takahashi FSQ106N and Mount Tak EM200, Baader filters
To be used in an Edition of Stellarium
This is a huge crop of the full frame posted below.
