Title: Bayer Drizzle Algorithm
Post by: MarkS on Oct 22, 2016, 08:22:10
I have recently been experimenting with Bayer Drizzle - the optimum way of producing sharp images from one shot colour and DSLR data since it significantly reduces the interpolation between the R, G and B pixels.  DSS seemed to do a good job but PixInsight, less so. See http://deepskystacker.free.fr/english/technical.htm#Drizzle for some details.

Anyway the long and short of it is I persuaded the PixInsight team of a bug in the PixInsight code and there will be a future bug fix

As for me - I've already built myself a fixed version :)

Bloody hell Mark I've got a headache after reading all that...!! congrats on becoming a PI developer/ debugger... :-) We are not worthy... Does this mean your images are going to be even better?
