Title: My 1st crack at the sun
Post by: Ian on Apr 01, 2003, 01:05:00
Using a filter made from a piece of Baader Astrosolar Safety Film, I had a look at the sun earlier. Not a great many spots to look at, and the seeing was very swimmy, but here is the largest group of spots apparent on the disc.

Question: has anyone got any tips for focussing? it's a little different to night time astrophotography
