Title: Perseids and others on night of 11th to 12th August 2023
Post by: Rick on Aug 12, 2023, 20:33:01
This is a tracked stack of the meteors captured by my two Global Meteor Network cameras on the night of 11th to 12th August, 2023. From the preliminary analysis, one camera caught 114 Perseids and the other caught 127, but some were caught by both cameras so the total number of Perseids in this image is less than the sum of those two numbers. Likewise for other meteors also shown: Sporadics, 29 and 20; Northern delta Aquiriids, 2 and 7; Southern delta Aquiriids, 2 and 4; eta Eridanids, 5 and 4; kappa Cygnids, 2 and 2; Piscis Austrinids, 2 and 1.
