Title: SPC/Sharpcap
Post by: Fay on Oct 27, 2012, 21:24:05
Duncan, am practicing the above, but the camera name is not showing up in the box top right, Capture Profile. Do you know why that may be?

Thanks

Can you see/connect to the camera in PHD or Vlounge, the Phillips video app? Have you selected it (does it show as an option) on the Cameras SharpCap menu??

Sharpcap will connect automatically if it recognised the SPC900 driver (or other webcam), so you probably don't have the driver loaded properly. The webcam should show up as an entry in the taskbar Disconnect USB utility (bottom right), if it's not there, disconect the camera and reconnect. If you don't have the driver loaded Windows should load it. If Windows says no, run the setup program "spc900nc_00_dwv_eng" which you can get from the Canon website.
