Title: Jellyfish Nebula
Post by: MarkS on Apr 05, 2020, 10:17:09
Here's a target I've been meaning to shoot for years. It's the Jellyfish Nebula (IC443) lower right and the much less bright Sharpless 249 upper left.

Taken over 3 nights: 25/26/27 March 2020 with just over one hour each night before it went too low in the sky.
In total this is 100 x 2min exposures using a modified Nikon Z6 on the Tak Epsilon 180ED.

Full size version is here: http://www.markshelley.co.uk/Astronomy/2020/jellyfish20200325.jpg

A great result Mark.  Can't believe you have never imaged it before.
