Title: "Sky at Night" off air?
Post by: Rick on Mar 14, 2022, 11:24:56
The "Sky at Night" came up in a chat I was having on the radio this morning.  The programme website says "No upcoming broadcasts" and the last one on iPlayer seems to have been broadcast in January.  The question folk were asking was "Is it coming back, and if so, when?"  :-?

I've noticed that too. No new programmes on BBC iplayer.  Just watched the January one, which was pretty good. It would be very sad to see it disappear.

There has been some discussion on this on Stargazers Lounge.  They seem to think they are in Australia at the moment doing Stargazing Live, though that seems unlikely as that is a Brian Cox programme.

Also someone found an Advert on the BBC dated 7th March asking for a passionate amateur backyard astronomer in the West Midlands to feature in an up coming programme.
