Title: TOAST-PRO Delicious tracking mount
Post by: The Thing on Nov 20, 2013, 10:50:41
I kid you not, that's its name - have a look here (http://www.tan14.com/Others.htm). It's a bit of a step up from a Skytracker or Polarie! Wonder what the price will be? And it's got a sort of appropriate name for the OAS   :)

BTW I seem to remember Julian has bought stuff from Tan14.

Yes I have bought my QHY5 IIL and finder from him and found him very helpful.
If you email him he takes a day or 2 to reply and yes I would buy from him again.
Duncan did you want to try out the QHY5IIL ?

Hi Julian,

Yes I would love to try the QHY5L-II.

Robert has just about talked me into getting a Lodestar but it's a lot of dosh. With a QHY5L-II I could have a colour one as well! Trouble is we need some clear nights so can give it a proper test, and you won't want to be lending it out at the next DSC as you will probably be using it.

BTW my mod to the QHY5 did improve the noise but nothing is going to fix the CMOS banding it exhibits.
