Title: Milky Way cascading over Bough Beech Reservoir
Post by: RichardL on Aug 24, 2018, 00:01:20
Hi All,

It was great to meet a few more of you at yesterday's meet up!

Here's  an image I took 15th July 2018 of the Milky Way cascading over Bough Beech Reservoir. A great location, and probably one of the darkest I've found in the local area!

Photographed using a Sony a6300 camera and 12mm f/2 Samyang lens. A stack of 10 images was used for the sky, taken at f/2.8, ISO3200 and exposed for 25 seconds, combined with a single image of the same for the foreground.

Super image Richard, especially as it was taken somewhere so local.

A really beautiful image.  You've done an excellent job processing this.

The reflections in the water really add something to the composition and the resulting image really deserves to be hung on the wall.
