Title: Cave Nebula (Old Data)
Post by: Carole on Sep 09, 2022, 12:21:23
I imaged this a few years ago but have never been happy with previous results, so with some new techniques thought I would give it another go.

I can't even find the original specs on how many subs etc, but I do believe the Oiii and Sii data was obtained from this wide field taken with my Samyang lens (also not happy with this image either):

Ha 15 x 600 + 3 x 300
Oiii 9 x 300 binned
Sii 9 x 300 binned
Total imaging time almost 4 3/4 hours

Not even sure if the Ha was taken separately.

But think I am finally reasonably happy with the result.  I had to double the resolution as the stars were rather pixellated on this scale.

I have left it in my staging area on Astrobin because it is a reprocess with vague info and not same scale as original.
