Post by: Rick on Jun 25, 2004, 15:52:00
BAA electronic circular No. 00153  http://www.britastro.org/

We hope to see many of you at the Exhibition meeting this Saturday at the Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge.

The Exhibition is one of the premier meetings of the Association, and this year we will be reporting on observations of the Transit of Venus that was so well observed from the U.K and abroad. Do come and discuss your experiences of this unique (to date) event.

In addition, we have David Graham talking about "Saturn in the Age of Cassini", and of course Martin Mobberley's ever popular Sky Notes.

We are pleased to say that Earth and Sky, Green Witch, Martin Lunn Books, and  Chris Marriott's SkyMap Pro will all be present again.

There will be Ploughman's lunches available for a small charge, and free beer and wine, as well as tea and coffee throughout the day.
For details of how to get to the Exhibition, see Jonathan Shanklin's clear directions at http://www.ast.cam.ac.uk/~jds/exhib.htm

The meeting is free,  the atmosphere convivial. We hope to see you there.

Clear skies
