Taken thru thick fog at High Halden! it was funny, to see us all setup and imaging in thick fog, desperation to get something, as it is a bad year!

strange that anything was got, and that the guiding was still ok.

14x900, QSI 583ws, 5nm Astrodon ha filter,  Leitz Telyt 180mm lens, F4.

Lovely shot I'm impressive with what you managed with the weather. How easy is it to get the focus with the lens connected directly to the camera?
I'd be interested in trying this with my ST8300 and a canon len.

thanks Ivor. i focus manually and just by sight, i find it easyish with that lens. the wider the angle the harder it gets as the stars get so small

Thats really nice Fay. Amazingly sharp for the seeing and mist. I love shots that show the context of objects such as these.
