Title: NGC1333 now with colour
Post by: Carole on Sep 28, 2018, 09:18:26
I also posted this on the end of my WIP thread (although it is still a work in progress, since I think I need a lot more data to smooth out the noise).  But at least I have colour for the full image now.

There were very little clear skies at all at Kelling and what there was, was on the day I arrived and it rained in the afternoon, so could not complete setting up until after it got dark.
Then I had to PA so wasted much of the only clear hour we got the whole weekend.

So I managed to grab only 7 subs of RGB dodging between clouds.
So the outer regions consist of:
3 red, 2 green and 3 blue x 120secs binned
But at least I have colour over the whole FOV now.

As you recall I have the luminance from Previous efforts, and the middle bit had colour but not the outer regions.
Lost the plot on how much Luminance I have (taken over several camps) but will try to work it out.

Original Middle bit was:
Lum 7 x 600secs 2 x 400 secs (shortened because of intermittent cloud)
RGB 6 x 300secs binned
ED120 & Atik314L HEQ5 + WO FR x 0.8
Total 2 hours 43 mins

Thanks Fay, it took 2 years to get this far.
