M27 Dumbell Nebula on a good night

The Thing

This was done at the same time as the widefield Milky Way shot.

14x300s@iso1600 or 1h10 of exposure time. It was a lovely night, never seen the Milky Way so clearly, not since I worked in the jungles of Papua New Guinea when i was a nipper. Now that was dark...

Image date, time and location:       02:00 2016-08-01 Manche, France
Telescope aperture and focal ratio:  Meade LX90 8" UHTC, Baader Alan Gee II Telecompressor, OAG, NEQ6 belt drive.
Camera and filters used:               Canon 1100D defiltered, IDAS LPS-D1
Processing applied:                      DeepSkyStacker, Irfanview, Lightzone. No calibration. Cropped edges.
