Took this last night using Ollys equipment. Atik 314L camera, EQ6 mount and 4" refractor (f5). Autoguiding with astroart.  Really pleased with it, 24 x 5 min subs using an HA filter. Finally starting to understand how to do all this malarky! You can see the "finger of God" star forming regions if you look carefully. Processed in Maxim DL. I also took an hour and a half of RGB but can't work out how to add that yet!

Thank god its cloudy tonight. I can finally get some sleep.

Well done Jim!  It's really good to see an image from you and an excellent image at that.  A lot of lovely detail in that one and the guiding looks spot on!

Thanks Mark, I really learnt a lot from doing it. Chris tells me that I can tease a lot more detail out with a bit more processing, so something to do next week.
