Title: NGC7023 Tuesnode from last night
Post by: Rocket Pooch on May 24, 2007, 15:40:15
Hi,

I have processed an image of NGC 7023, however, I did not get enough Luminance therefore the image is a little grainy, anyway here it is: -

I'll work on reducing the noise later this week :-)

Chris,

A little grainy!!!! I think it's great!!
What constellation is it in?

John said you did 6 min exposures. How many did you do?

Can you recommend an NGC book which includes images with their descriptions.

Hi,

This was 16x5 minute exposures for L and 10x2 minute exposures for RG&B.  Also flats etc we're done later at home.

Not sure about an NGC list, I first saw this image on a SAC8 forum two years ago.  Maybe we will have something in the library.

Came out pretty well Chris - Well worth listening to all those noisey frogs to get.... I was highly impressed with your mount/ guiding after the rebuild...

John,

I would have told those bloody French that we need piece and quiet whilst imaging and drinking in this country, and they say the English are a rowdy bunch when they go abroad. :)
