A good time was had by all who came to the walk on Sunday. Portions in the Crown meant that a wak was very necessacary. Food was good and beer was great. Then off to the Model Where David put us all in the total perspective vortex and blew our minds. A great afternoon, even the 1:1 scale Sun made an appearence and kept the rain away, at least until we hd returned from Pluto to the Crown.

It's not every day you can say you have walked from the Sun to Pluto and back!

An excellent and very educational walk. It gives you a whole new perspective on the universe and a lot more respect for thsoe guys that send those tiny spacecraft across those huge empty spaces and get it to arrive at the right place and time. A mind boggling experience!
We live in a society exquisitely dependent on science and technology, in which hardly anyone knows anything about science and technology. Carl Sagan
