Title: opening a RAR file

i have downloaded the latest DSS file but it wants me to choose what program to open it with :o

suggestion please

DSS is a Zip file innit ?

You could download WinRar if ZIp doesn't do it -

the update is a RAR. have opened it via TUGzip, but dont know how to get it from TUG to program files, it does stack correctly though

Use 7Zip.

Copy the files in the RAR into Program Files/DeepSkyStacker and overwrite the originals. You should be able to just drag and drop them from WinTUG or whatever into the correct folder. Say Yes when Windows asks it it should allow it.
