Title: Mandel-Wilson 3 - Faint IFN from Petts Wood
Post by: Roberto on Jan 17, 2022, 17:40:06
Hello All

I acquired this one after the target in my earlier 2x2 mosaic set.   This is my second MW object (I shot MW2 - The Angel Nebula in 2017).  Details on my Astrobin page here:  https://www.astrobin.com/wwxf0w/D/ (https://www.astrobin.com/wwxf0w/D/)

This is a very faint object, so it barely shows after 36+ hours of exposure.  Certainly needs darker skies than Petts Wood... :cheesy:...but that's for another life.

Very brave to tackle this from Petts Wood and a lot of hours spent on it.

Don't suppose you would ever fancy coming to a Deep Sky Camp Bortle 4.  I guess you have everything set up so nicely you probably don't want to disrupt it all.  Maybe a travel set up?

Thank you Carole, Roger!  Carole, I don't really have a mobile imaging setup anymore.  If I go to dark skies it will be for visual only; which I enjoy very much.
